Fuze It Worldwide Covers "New Coachella"

FUZE IT WORLDWIDE is known for our work in the fashion, art and music industry, so we are excited to announce that we will be covering this summer's ongoing music and art festival. A summer full of music and art, at least that's what the creators of the festival "Open Borders" envisioned will run between June 2nd through August 7th in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

The "Open Borders" festival will take place in the former home of the Borders bookstore on Thousand Oaks Blvd. Larry Janss, owner of the property that was once a Border's bookstore, couldn't let the 40,000 square ft. space go to waste over the summer. Instead he partnered up with the nonprofit organization Regenerate Films to create the festival. Founded in 2002, Regenerates mission is to prevent teen traffic, suicide and violence related injuries by communication through film, radio and the Internet. This fall their award winning feature film "My Suicide" can be seen in theaters around the country. All the revenue from "Open Borders" will go directly to nonprofit organizations dedicated to the prevention of teen suicide and other social issues.

Several stages are set up at the transformed venue. National and international musicians and artists from a range of genres will appear at the festival. Featured performers on the main stage will include the Grouch and Eligh, Ozomatli and Murs.

Not only will there be plenty of music, but art will also be a huge part of the summertime festival. Art exhibits will be placed around the border of the venue displaying a variety of art work from local talented artists to the professional gallery in Thousand Oaks, the Four Friends Gallery. It will display fine art and photography from the 19th through the 21st century.

FUZE IT WORLDWIDE looks forward to bringing you the exclusive inside this summer festival, so stay tuned for our interview with featured artist Murs. Here is a sneak peek of the transformed venue!
